The association was formed in September 1967 to bring competitive swimming through competitive swimming clubs to the Airedale & Wharfdale District. The 2025 season has 6 galas and consists of almost 150 events split into 4 age groups, open events and team events.

To take part in our galas, you must be a member of a competitive swimming club who are affiliated to us for the season.
